The birthday wrap-up

Soooooo,

the events of this weekend,

were MUCH like everything I do.

RANDOM AS HELL.

I had a good time tho.

Highlights:

1. Meeting Thomas Mikal Ford aka Tommy from Martin aka Mink

2. Went to the Watch The Throne show on a RANDOM ASS MISSION

3. My homeboy, Bryan, came down and kicked it with a plair.

What woulda made it better is if I found a legit costume pawty,

so Cleveland coulda made an appearance.

BUT

seeing Jay and Ye made up for a WHOOOOLE bunch.

Pretty decent seats too tho.

Oh yea,

the Eagles beat the Cowboys too!

Oct. 27,

1984,

at 9:10 pm,

in Montgomery,

Alabama,

I was born.

According to my mama,

she went into labor on Thursday morning,

BUT

I didn't come out until Saturday night.

52 WHOLE hours.

I wonder if that's why i'm such an ass....?

ANYWAY,

she said when I came out that she was asked if she wanted to see me,

and she declined.

Cold world.

Hell,

she ain't even know I was a boy.

THEN,

how bout,

when she sent me to get circumcised (yea, no turtleneck over here),

she heard me screaming all the way down the hall.

Cold world.

Many consider today to be my golden birthday and all,

cuz i'm turning 27 on the 27th.

To me,

I'm just thankful for another year of life,

breath,

and experiences.

They say that the greats perish on their 27th year,

BUT,

Lord willin,

I'll be seeing 27 more,

and so on.

How To Make It In America is one of my new favorite shows.

When it first started,

it was during the intermission of Entourage.

like many folks,

I was forced to compare the two shows.

I am SOO glad I moved beyond that comparison and started to enjoy the show.

just tryin to make a name for themselves.

I can dig it.

last night's episode,

Rachel,

who is Ben's ex,

she was just hiding it.

I remember when I first heard about that "superhero"

I find it interesting how the day AFTER news about the new iPhone was released,

that Steve Jobs went on to glory.

Like he waited for it,

then went home.

I been a fan of Apple since that first generation iPod.

I feel like I was one of the first people to have that big hoe too!

I had an iBook G4,

now a Macbook Pro,

and OF COURSE i'm rockin the iPhone 3Gs.

So,

i'm CLEARLY an advocate.

Mr. Jobs was truly an asset to the company,

and his wisdom changed technology forever.

I wonder if you knew that he was fired from Apple,

then,

years later,

they hired him back,

and that's when the whole "i" movement began.
