One of the consistent topics i'll post will be a "Movie Spotlight", and this post is dedicated to the cult classic that is Any Given Sunday.
I mean, we all recall LL running up and down the field in that FUBU jersey, benching groupies, and rockin that RED FUR COAT, all for the "Shut Em' Down" video (which was a hot song by the way), but this is about the actual film.
This movie was good on sooo many levels, and had every type of sports character:
Eager Rookie
and etc...
One of my favorite elements of the film was the dialogue, cuz let's face it, aside from the storyline, soundtrack, and constant EXTRA locker room scenes (were they THAT necessary, Oliver?), the movie quotes were PRICELESS!!!
There was a LOT of arguments and overlapped lines, but still, stuff like "Fuck you! Big ass bitch!", "What'd he do, fall off the bench?", "Your trash talk is too fresh" and "Is this the plantation team" are just a few of the gems.
I WOULD list all of the lines, but that's ridiculous and I don't wanna, BUT there are PLENTY of sites of there that can assist you, and if you don't like that, well....
